MotiVid Privacy Policy

This policy applies to MotiVid (com.streamize.motivid), operated by Streamize Co., Ltd. · Effective September 9, 2026

In short

MotiVid writes you a short daily letter about your own situation, so the text you write about your life is the heart of what we hold. It is used to generate your letters and nothing else. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and MotiVid contains no advertising SDK or cross-app tracking. Firebase collects app usage analytics.

Writing a letter means sending your situation to an AI provider outside the United States, and generating its voice means sending the script to a speech provider. Both are named below, because you should be able to see exactly where your words go. You can delete everything at any time from Settings → Account, and deletion is immediate.

All of it is linked to your account. Analytics may infer your approximate location from your IP address. We do not read your precise device location, contacts, health-platform records, photo library beyond the images you pick for a persona, or your payment card details. Your optional situation, goals and check-ins may include fitness, wellbeing or other sensitive information you choose to share; this text is stored and processed to personalize your letters. Please avoid entering medical records.

Who processes it

We do not sell your information or share it for advertising. To run the service we pass specific pieces of it to the providers below, each of which receives only what its job needs.

ProviderWhat it receivesWhere
Google (Firebase)Sign-in, database, file storage, push notifications, usage analyticsUnited States
DeepSeekWrites your letter. Receives your situation text as you wrote it, your topic tags, your unfinished goals, recent action check-ins and optional notes, and the opening lines of your last few letters so it does not repeat itself. Also checks the finished script for unsafe content. It does not receive your name, email, or any identifier.China
Our speech service and its engine (Alibaba Model Studio)Turns the script into speech. Receives a persona’s voice recording once, to create the voice, and the text of every letter thereafter. The finished audio is held on a content network for up to 30 days before we copy it into our own storage.China (engine); United States (our service)
Our video serviceRenders the talking-head video. Receives the persona’s portrait and the synthesized audio. It does not receive the letter’s text.United States

RevenueCatTracks your subscription, keyed to your user ID. Also receives a device identifier and your IP address. No card details.United States

International transfers

MotiVid is operated from the Republic of Korea and most of its infrastructure runs in the United States. Two providers are elsewhere: the provider that writes your letters and the engine that speaks them are hosted in China. That means the text you write about your situation, and the script spoken in your letters, are processed there under those providers’ terms.

If that is not acceptable to you, please do not use MotiVid — there is currently no way to receive a letter without this processing, because generating the letter is the service. We will state it here if we move either provider.

What is visible outside the app

Three things leave the private area of the app by design, and are worth knowing about:

  • A published persona is public. If you publish a persona to the marketplace, its name, description, and portrait can be seen by anyone using MotiVid. The voice recording you uploaded is not published — it is readable only briefly, by the speech provider, while the voice is being created.
  • Letter videos sit at an unguessable public address so that sharing works — when you share a letter to another app, that app fetches it from there. Anyone given the link can view it. We do not list these addresses anywhere.
  • A notification says a letter is ready, without the private script on your lock screen, and passes through Apple’s and Google’s push services to get there. Turn notifications off in iOS Settings if you would rather it did not.

Check-ins and device drafts

We store your action completion, helpfulness response and optional note with your account. Recent check-ins are sent to DeepSeek with your situation and goals to write the next letter. These text fields are not sent to product analytics. Playback completion, sample plays and other product events are collected without your private text.

Unfinished onboarding drafts are stored on your device, scoped to your account. We clear them after onboarding, sign-out or account deletion. A prerecorded sample plays without sending your situation to a generation provider.

Billing-period usage counters are keyed by a hashed subscription identifier and retained separately from your account to prevent restoring a purchase from resetting its video allowance. Payment records held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat follow their retention requirements.

How long we keep it

Your account data, situation, goals, and letters are kept while your account exists and are deleted immediately when you delete it — there is no grace period.

Each time you rewrite your situation we keep the previous version in your own history, so a letter can be checked against what you had said at the time. That history is deleted with your account.

Usage statistics and crash reports are kept according to each provider’s standard retention and are not tied to your letters. Audio produced by the speech provider expires from their network within 30 days; we copy the finished letter into our own storage before then.

Deleting your data

Open Settings → Account → Delete account. This erases your account, your situation and its history, your goals, your check-ins and notes, your letters and their scripts, the letter videos and audio, and any personas you uploaded together with the photos and voice recordings behind them.

What deletion cannot reach: letters already generated for other people from a persona you published stay in those users’ archives, because they are that user’s own letters — no new ones are generated. Videos you had already shared or saved elsewhere are outside our control. Aggregate usage statistics that no longer identify you are not reversed.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store — cancel that in your Apple Account settings.

Your choices and rights

You can delete your account in the app at any time, turn notifications off in iOS Settings, change or clear the situation text you have written, and stop uploading personas at any point.

To request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion by email — or if your face or voice appears in a persona you did not upload — write to admin@streamize.net. We act without undue delay. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, including to object to processing or to complain to your data protection authority; email us and we will honour them.

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

Children

MotiVid is for people aged 17 or older and is not directed at children. You confirm your age when you first sign in. If we learn that an account belongs to a child, we delete it.

Security

Everything in transit is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Database and storage rules restrict each user’s data to that user, the full text of a letter’s script is not readable by any app client, and administrative access is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfect; if a breach affects you, we will tell you.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we post the new version here with a new effective date, and announce material changes in the app. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
